Bee Pollen Honey

Björn's Bee Pollen Honey combines local honey and bee pollen, two substances from the hive renowned for their nutritional and health benefits.

Bee pollen does occur naturally in honey but in relatively small amounts. We wanted to create a honey that packs a real pollen punch. This honey is specially blended for people looking to add more bee pollen to their diet. Our pollen is not dehydrated, so the natural enzymes are intact, and the honey we pack it in will keep it fresh at room temperature.

Local bee pollen is a potent protein source and can prepare the body for seasonal allergies. Honeybees use pollen as their protein source, and the queen bee needs it in order to lay eggs. It’s also a powerful source of B vitamins, minerals, and amino acids for humans.

Try blending Bee Pollen Honey into your protein shake or smoothie and use it to top yogurt or a bowl of müesli. It is also lovely as a mild sweetener for herbal vinaigrettes used to dress fresh greens.

Eat this honey and enjoy the benefits of the hive!

People with severe asthma or allergies triggered by pollen should not eat this honey. If you are extremely sensitive to seasonal allergies, we recommend starting slow; eat a 1/8 teaspoon of the Bee Pollen Honey to ensure you don’t have an adverse reaction. Increase the amount you eat daily until you reach the desired dose.
