Beeswax Candle - One Pound
We're thrilled to offer this beautiful, Colorado-made Beeswax Candle. Beeswax is made by honeybees to store their honey, pollen, and brood (baby bees). It makes a wonderful, naturally perfume- and dye-free candle. Beeswax has a mild scent that is calming and gentle, and its lovely golden color goes with any decor.
Beeswax has been used in candle-making for generations and is prized for its ability to purify the air and burn for long periods of time, likely up to 40 hours
Burning pillar candles
Make sure to burn your pillar candle one hour for every inch of width. For this 3x4” pillar, that means at least three hours per burning session.
This candle also needs a “hug”
When you burn your candle, a wax wall will form. To keep the candle burning evenly, when you blow it out, let it cool for a couple of minutes and while the wax is still soft, fold it in toward the center. This is called “hugging your candle.”
Relighting
Keep your wick trimmed to approximately ¼-inch. If you have any trouble relighting, push your lighter into the wick gently to break up the fibers.
PLEASE REMOVE THE LABEL BEFORE BURNING.
